After a 4 year wait, GBC’s next church camp is finally coming up! The theme is "Doing Spiritual Good". How do we do spiritual good? What does this mean for the church? What does this mean for me and you?

Our youths had their annual camp from 18 to 21 December 2022. Theodore, one of our young adults, was one of many church members who went down to the camp to spend time with the youths. He shares his experience and reflections here.

In November, we had the joy of welcoming new members twice in the month! On 13 November and 27 November, 16 members joined the church via baptism or transfer of membership.

Church, let us gather for our first picnic in 2023! This will be held at Bedok Reservoir Park from 4-7pm on 1 January 2023. 

"Bearing Burdens" is a women's ministry event that was held on 19 November 2022. This is a follow up from the first Women of Grace event in May where the ladies had a time to get to know one another and meet after a period of COVID separation.

On 2 October 2022, we held our last Quarterly Congregational Meeting (QCM) of the year. What a year it has been, and how it has flown by! A large part of the meeting was spent recounting the various events of the year, and also looked forward to things to come.

It was our joy to welcome 14 new members both by baptism and transfer on 21 August 2022.

On 9 August, National Day, we held our second church picnic of the year.

On 31 July, we held our second family dedication of the year, committing with God and one another to come alongside the parents to raise these new children that God has so generously blessed us with. 

On 3 July 22, we had our first in-person Quarterly Congregational Meeting after more than two years! We thank God for the great turnout and fruitful meeting.

Over two weekends in June, we welcomed 10 new members by both baptism and transfer. 

Last weekend, we praised God for the good gift of children that He has so generously blessed us with. We covenanted with God and one another to steward these young lives, pointing them to Christ and reflecting to them the grace that has changed our lives.

The "Women of Grace" event was a half-day event held on 14 May 2022. The women of GBC gathered to share, pray, meet other women and to also learn together. Bibianna shares what took place and how God provided for the event.

Pastor Eugene explains why we have a women's ministry in the church and how it is to be carried out. A version of this was shared at our recent Women of Grace event, where the women of the church came to spend a morning together. 

After two years of social distancing, we were excited to be able to gather for a church picnic at Fort Canning Park. Many came and spent the morning together at Fort Canning Park on this public holiday.

Clarice, one of our members, had the opportunity to bring her grandmother to church on Easter for the service. She reflects on how this chance prompted her to think about the truth of the resurrection.
