EQUIP
EQUIP exists to equip us with God’s truth, that we may grow in our knowledge, love and service to Him.
What it is
God’s Word says that pastors have the responsibility to "equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ" (Eph 4:11-12) and that the Scripture is authoritative and sufficient to equip the man of God "for every good work" (2 Tim 3:16-17). We believe that the different members of Christ's body can minister to one another to "grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ" (Eph 4:15).
EQUIP is a learning and training initiative for the whole church. It aims to help us grow in understanding, applying, and teaching God's word, as well as to live, love, and serve according to the word. We also encourage participants to continue in discipleship relationships even after attending EQUIP sessions.

If you are a Christian, you love Jesus because you heard the Gospel from someone. As we grow as Christians, it is important to consider our challenge, hope, and calling to faithfully share the Good News of Jesus Christ. In this three-part series, we will explore what biblical evangelism is, what must be communicated in the Gospel, and how to deal with common barriers and objections in Singapore.
Dates: 13 and 20 October, 2 November
Venue: 301
Time: 11am-12pm
Join us for this 3-session series and see what the Bible says about the what, why and how of marriage through three key passages. We will also look at how the church can help to navigate problems that affect marriages, and there will be a time to hear from some couples at GBC.

Studies in 2024
Here are the studies that we did in 2024.
What is dating and what is the biblical approach to dating? How does a biblical understanding of scripture influence who we date and how we date? In this series, we will look at Scripture to help and grow us in God's holiness in our dating relationship.
How do the words of Psalm 23 speak to us in seasons of life when we undergo suffering and affliction? Join us for this two-session series.
Although we are one in Christ, why should we emphasize a difference between males and females? Why should we celebrate being male or female?
Join us in this series to see what the Bible has to say about gender.
Conflicts are an inevitable part of living in a close community, even in a church. In this 2-session series, we will delve into how the gospel helps us understand the root cause of conflicts and quarrels, what is its ultimate solution and how we can build each other up to Christ-likeness, even through the difficult times of conflicts.
The Bible is the foundation for our church life as authored by God through human hands and it is important to read the Bible rightly. These 6 sessions will seek to equip us with the tools to read the Bible rightly and also encourage us to read it as a community of committed believers.
These two sessions seek to help us understand calling and contentment, loneliness and community.
Being a church member requires intentionality and discipline, but doing so brings the benefit of spiritual growth not just to ourselves and also to the people we interact with. Join us to learn how we can live out being a member of GBC together well.
What are the marks of church health? Scripture does not leave us guessing and this series will explore what Scripture has to say.
Time and money are two resources that we often struggle to have enough of. What does God’s Word have to say?
Living as Christians in the present day-to-day proves to be more challenging than remembering the past redemption and the future promised glory. We need one another and we will explore how we can help one another to persevere in the faith.
