Watchnight Service 2023

We invite all to join us for our Watchnight Service on 31 December, from 8–10pm in the Sanctuary. This will take the place of our usual monthly Prayer Meeting after service. 

The Watchnight Service usually takes place on the evening of the last night of the year, where we seek to gather to reflect on the year that has gone by, thank God for His provision and pray in continued dependence for the new year. GBC has been holding Watchnight services yearly, even during the COVID years! If you've not been to one, you can read more about our past services here—2021's, 2020's, 2019's and beyond.

This year, there will be a time of singing, a short devotion and opportunities to hear various members share. There will also be a time to share and pray with others present. 

We encourage all members and worshippers to consider setting aside time in the final hours of 2023 to gather with God's people in this way. This is a way to be encouraged and to also encourage others by testifying to God's faithfulness and goodness through the ups and downs of the year. 

Just a note that there will be no children's programme or childminding that night, and we welcome children to join us for the service!
