Thanksgiving for Mark and Family

At our 5 May 2024 service, we thanked the Lord for the ministry of Mark, Megan and their family among us and also prayed for them.

Elder Gerald, on behalf of the Elders and congregation, took the opportunity to thank them for their work among us in the past 2 years. Many in the church have also shared at our April Prayer Meeting or privately with the family how God has used them to encourage and build us up.

Elder Gerald also led the church to thank God for them, and to also pray for them as they move. We prayed for continued strength for Mark and Megan as they seek to bring the gospel to the nations, and that God will establish the work of their hands. As a church, we also prayed for their children, that they will continue to grow in their love for God and His word, and that God in His time, will transform their hearts and bear the fruit of the Spirit in their lives.

Church, let us continue to seek to remember them in our prayers. Let us seek to use every opportunity to edify them through words of love and encouragement, and sharing of God’s unfailing goodness in our lives.
