Baptisms and Transfers—19 May 24

At our 19 May 2024 service, we had the joy of witnessing the baptism of 3 new members. These, together with 8 others who joined us by transfer, were introduced during our Members Meeting on 12 March, where members of GBC voted to receive them. 

Jun Tung, Daniel and Jun Liang shared how God saved them by grace, through faith in Christ. God used various people to share the gospel with them, often over many years and through different occasions, and He worked to give them a new heart with new desires.

At the end of the service, Pastor Oliver introduced all the new members who joined us both by baptism and transfer — Jun Tung, Jun Liang, Daniel, Beth, Xuan Ying, Samuel, Jeanelle and Eunice. Theodore, Maureen and Janice also joined us, but are not in the picture below. It is always humbling to hear or read their testimonies and witness these baptisms. It reminds us that God is at work, and the gospel has the power to convert, change and transform lives! As a church, let us continue to hold fast toe the gospel, proclaim it boldly, and live lives of repentance and faith.
