  2. Jesus humbles religious pride (Lk 14:7-11)

Reflection Questions

  1. What am I depending on for God’s approval: the standard of my own religious “performance”, or Christ alone?

  2. What is the true condition of my heart before God? Am I experiencing joy and peace from knowing Jesus, or am I simply going through the motions of external religion?

  3. How has Jesus shown me mercy? In what ways can the gospel grow my humility, joy and contentment?
