How are you living now in light of Christ's return?

Call to Worship: Revelation 1:7-8

"Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account him. Even so, Amen. "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

This week Pastor Eugene will continue with preaching from Luke 12:35-48 on "Be Ready for the Master". He will point us to Jesus, the returning King and that we His followers, are to be ready for His return by serving Him faithfully now. Let's be praying for Pastor Eugene to be able to discern God's word and be faithful to the text.

This week, let's be praying for these items:

1. Baptism and Transfer (New Members)

  • We give thanks for these brothers and sisters who are joining us as members by baptism and transfer:Baptism - Qing Ping, Prisca Tan & KrishnaTransfer - Javirea, Dikaios, Valerie, Fiona, Carol, Lison & Ruth
  • Pray for these new members and us as a church, to disciple and grow them towards maturity and Christ-likeness.

2. Youth Group

  • Wisdom and perseverance for the youth leaders as they faithfully serve in shepherding and discipling the young ones in our midst.
  • God to turn the hearts of those who have dropped out of the group to Him and to their small groups and find encouragement in growing His word and maturity together.
  • God's peace and assurance for those who are sitting for their major exams in the coming weeks.

3. GBC

  • We will live as faithful followers of Jesus who pursue richness in God and not the riches of the world.
  • Strength and encouragement for those who are struggling with illness whether physically or emotionally. Pray that they will find refuge and relief in our God who gives grace to those who are weak.
  • We will uphold one another in prayer even though we cannot gather physically.
