Ministry Guide (11 Oct 2020)

Call to Worship: Hebrews 4:14-16

"Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathise with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need."

GOD'S WORD IN WORSHIP

Preaching from the pulpit this Sunday is Pastor Ian and his sermon is titled "The Common Need for Grace" from Luke 13:1-9. The big idea of his sermon is that Jesus' pleading for us and with us, provides all a period of grace during which we might repent. Let's uphold Pastor Ian in prayer as he gleans from God's word that his faith will be strengthened and to preach with boldness. Let's pray that as a church we will be encouraged to humbly respond to God's providential grace.
