GBC Worship Services in Phase 3

phase-3-covid-updates-header

On 8 January 2021, MCCY has approved our increased capacity of 244 persons based on the government's assessment of our premises and physical layout. We have thus increased the capacity of our worship service to 244 persons starting 10 January 2021.

On 16 January, we launched our Saturday 5pm service, and starting from that weekend, we will have two services every week (Sunday 9am and Saturday 5pm) with both services having a capacity of 244 pax each. If both services are oversubscribed, we will also consider opening up more services.

The elders ask that where possible, members resume gathering for worship even though the livestreaming will continue on Sunday mornings. We ask that worshippers join us consistently at the service you attend for ease of planning, and our care for you.

As each service is limited to 244 people, you will need to register online beforehand (http://gracebaptistchurch.sg/service-registration). Online registration opens at noon every Sunday. Places for each service will be allocated to the first 244 registrants.

Watch this video to find out what you can expect when you arrive at GBC in Phase 3 for worship:

Help us make the process smooth and quick by being punctual and prepared. Do leave the church premise immediately after service and do not mingle. Have fellowship offsite according to the government's guidelines on social gatherings.

In keeping with the government’s regulations, our worship team will resume live music. The preacher and service leader will also be able to preach and lead unmasked. We hope these developments will encourage your hearts, and help us in worshipping our God.

Children's Church will resume onsite from 31 January 21 and will only be conducted on Sundays for now.  It starts at 9am and ends at 10.15am. Parents need to drop their children off for the class on Level 3 before proceeding to Sanctuary for worship. Prior to 31 January, children should remain with parents during worship services.

We will resume our practice of serving the Lord's Supper on every first Saturday/Sunday of the month instead of every Sunday, and it will be served during service and not after service. The Lord's Supper elements are factory-sealed and individually-packed.

We give thanks to God for sustaining us this year while we have been apart. As He leads us into a new year, we echo the words of the apostle John in 3 Jn 14, “I hope to see you soon, and we will talk face to face.”
