Let's Prepare for Worship this Sunday (7 May 17)

WORSHIP PREPARATION

Call to Worship: Psalm 22:27-28
“All the ends of the earth shall remember
and turn to the Lord,
and all the families of the nations
shall worship before you.
For kingship belongs to the Lord,
and he rules over the nations.”

We sometimes tend to be absent-minded – we forget that our King and God reigns over all the nations and over all things. Is there an area that we can turn to God and remember and give thanks to Him this week? This is our God and King whom one day all nations will come and bow down and worship. Let us proclaim our God and King to the Nations – so that they will come to worship Him! Let us turn to and remember our God and King!

We hope this week's songs, sermon and ministry guide can aid you in preparing your heart to meet Him this Sunday:

SONGS FOR WORSHIP

You can find the lyrics and scores of the songs here to aid you in worshipping God.

GOD'S WORD IN WORSHIP

This Sunday is the start of our Great Commission Month. Bringing us the sermon this week is Pastor Ian who will be speaking on “A Modest Response to a Great Commission” (Matt 28:18-20). Let's be praying that the Holy Spirit will empower Pastor Ian as he shares what is critical to our understanding of the assignment given to the Church.  Pray for ourselves that we will be an obedient church that knows the presence and power of the resurrected Christ.

PRAYING FOR THE COMMUNITY

There are different ways we can care for our church community and one of which is to pray for them. Please be praying not only for the needs of the various ministries that seek to serve the church but also for yourself to participate in serving one another.

Let's do life together as a church in Worship, in Word and in Community. See you on Sunday!
