Let's Prepare for Worship This Sunday (2 Apr 2017)

WORSHIP PREPARATION

How was your week? Have you been thirsting and hungering for God?Let's just spend some quiet moments and thank God that He is the living water who alone satisfies all our needs and that He will graciously bring blessings in fulfillment of His covenant promises.

Here are the pre-service reflection question, call to worship passage, and songs for this Sunday to help direct our thoughts to God:

Isaiah 55:1-3
“Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food. Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live; and I will make with you an everlasting covenant, my steadfast, sure love for David.”

Pre-service reflection questions :
What am I thirsty and hungry for right now? How can I learn to trust that God will meet my hunger and thirst?

SONGS FOR WORSHIP

You can find the lyrics and scores of the songs here to aid you in worshipping God.

GOD'S WORD IN WORSHIP

Continuing with the Not Ashamed sermon series, this Sunday's sermon is on Acts 8:1-8: “The Persuasion of Persecution”. Let's be praying for Pastor Ian who will be bringing God's Word. Also be praying for ourselves to come with hearts of expectancy to not only receive but also live out God's truth in our lives.

PRAYING FOR THE COMMUNITY

What better way to care for the church community? Praying for them! Here is the ministry guide where you get a glimpse of the community life and be praying for their needs and perhaps participating in serving one another.

We trust that God will refresh you as you draw strength from Him and His Word. May you have a blessed time being in God's presence and see you on Sunday!
