GBC 60TH ANNIVERSARY:
1) THANKSGIVING SERVICE | SUN 18 AUG | 10.00 AM
We will be giving thanks to God for His faithfulness as we observe GBC’s 60th Anniversary at the Thanksgiving Service on Sunday 18 Aug at 10.00am. This will be a combined English and Chinese Congregation service with a catered lunch after the service. As the level 2 carpark will be used for lunch, there will be limited parking. We appeal to members to park off-site to make space for visitors and those who need it more.
2) 60TH ANNIVERSARY T-SHIRT
We will have a 60th Anniversary T-shirt with a logo to commemorate the event. As the timeframe to the Anniversary is short, we encourage those who are interested in purchasing the T-shirts to register at the counter in the Fellowship Hall after service today. Estimated cost: $15.
Please be informed that the pantry will be undergoing some upgrading works from the 9 July - 8 August 2019. We are adding another sink to the pantry. The pantry can still be used and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Pastor Ian is on leave 22 July – 16 August.

1. LOVE GIFT COLLECTION | TODAY 28 JUL
We will be doing a special collection for Gladiolus Place today during our service. Gladiolus Place is a Christian Residential Refuge for teenage girls. They provide a safe and loving family environment for every girl who walks through their doors. GBC has been serving with them since the middle of 2018 to build relationships for gospel outcomes. We hope to love and care for our neighbour across the road as we give to support their practical needs. The love gift will be given out during our 60th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service.
For contribution by cheque, please indicate payee as “Grace Baptist Church Ltd” and mark “For Gladiolus Place” on the reverse side of the cheque. For contribution by cash, please use the brown envelope at the pews and mark “For Gladiolus Place” and drop it into the blue offering bags.
2. PRACTICAL HELP NEEDED | TODAY 28 JUL | 11.30 AM - 1.15 PM
Gladiolus Place will be undergoing some renovation and repainting which require the girls to shift their living quarters. They need 7-8 able-bodied people to help move some cupboards and furniture from two rooms on level 4 to two other rooms on level 3. Interested to lend a hand? Please contact Pastor Ollie at email@example.com or drop him a note at 96571672. Thank you!
