Prepare for Worship (4 Nov 2018)

As you gather with the rest of the church for worship this Sunday, take a moment to consider your eternity, from where does your confidence come?

Call to Worship: Psalm 46:4-5

“There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,

the holy habitation of the Most High.

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;

 God will help her when morning dawns.

Here are the songs for this week.

This week, Pastor Ian continues with Part 2 of "The Source of Fellowship". His sermon will be taken from 1 John 4:13-21. Again, we will find Apostle John bringing us back to the source of love and that is, Christ who lives in us is the one at work in us to love those for whom He died. Let's pray that God will anoint his lips as he brings God's word to us on Sunday and may we respond in confidence to God's perfect love which casts out fear.

We are thankful to God for those who got baptised last Sunday and pray that as a church we will continue to be a source of encouragement to these new members whom God has graciously gifted us with. Also, we are grateful to God for a blessed time of worship in Scripture and song last Saturday at the Reformation Concert and pray for fruit. The concert was not the only platform where we saw people of different ages and backgrounds serving together.  For more opportunities to serve  God, please refer to this week's ministry guide and prayerfully consider how we can serve the church and one another.
