Prepare for Sunday Worship (3 Dec 2017)

Call to Worship : Revelation 7:9-12

“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”

Salvation belongs to God and not us -- it is God's work! Let's humble ourselves in praise and worship of our Almighty God as we prepare ourselves to meet with His people on Sunday and by His grace, we will make our God of glory obvious in our life and as a church.

Here are the songs to help us prepare for worship this week.

This week we continue with our 2nd sermon from our Advent sermon series, "Coming of the King" . Pastor Ian will be preaching from Isaiah 49:1-13 and his sermon is titled "Adventus: Hope for Distant Nations". Let's pray for his sermon preparation and that his sermon will point us to this providential God who seeks and gathers the nations. Pray that we will respond by being the servant in whom God is glorified.

Here is this week's ministry guide which gives us a glimpse of how we do life together as a community here in GBC. Let us prayerfully consider how we can play our part in this community of believers by serving one another and praying for the ministries.

See you on Sunday!
