Prepare for Sunday Worship (15 Oct 17)

Call to Worship : Deuteronomy 31:6

"Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them,

for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

How has God recently strengthened you in your weakness? As you reflect on this question, take time to give praise and thanks to God for His grace in your life this week and may His presence strengthen and encourage you.

Here are the songs to help us prepare for worship this week.

GOD'S WORD IN WORSHIPThis week, Pastor Eugene will be preaching from Acts 18:1-11 and his sermon is titled "In Christ Alone, Not Alone in Christ". The big idea of his sermon is about how Jesus encouraged Paul in his weakness by assuring him of His presence, protection and purpose and that much of this encouragement came through Paul’s friends, who worked with him to advance the gospel. Let's be praying Pastor Eugene's sermon preparation and preaching that God's word will so impact us to rely on God and His people to help us in our weakness more and more.

Here is this week's ministry guide which gives us a glimpse of where and what God is working in and through the church and its ministries. Let us prayerfully consider how we can do life together as a community of believers by serving one another.

See you on Sunday!
