Reformation Concert: Stories of Grace

The Refcon team organised a time of sharing and thanksgiving after the concert and they've also put together a collection of the testimonies! We hope that this small booklet will also encourage the church to continuing singing of God's grace as we remember and rejoice in all that God has done.

"Jesus Shall Reign"

Hymn writer Isaac Watts composed this hymn as a paraphrase of Psalm 72. It speaks of the rule and reign of King Jesus, the royal Davidic King. It also teaches us how to sing and praise our God and King with the words in Scripture!

The lyrics to “God Moves In A Mysterious Way” have been with us ever since William Cowper, the famed English hymn writer penned them in the 18th century. The men sung this at our recent Reformation Concert and here we'll take a closer look at the lyrics of this hymn.

Singing the Psalms

This year, close to 800 people in total attended the third concert, “Psalms: Grace That Sings”, in our new sanctuary on the 27th Oct and the preview a week before. But what do the Psalms have to do with the Reformation?
